  We were seated almost immediately upon arrival and received friendly and attentive service throughout the evening. Being regular visitors to Croyde, we have eaten at The Thatch a number of times and it continues to be one of the best places to eat for both food quality and price.

  We really enjoyed our meal at The Thatch, there was 20 of us and they were fast and great at serving us all, it's a very relaxed pub and we all trudged in from the beach without changing. The food was excellent to boot, no one had a bad plate of food and the portions were huge! I can highly recommend the Sri Lankan fish curry, it was well spiced, hearty and had a lot of fish in, not just off cuts like in some curries! There was a great load of beers and ciders on tap plus the cocktail menu of original, surf inspired drinks was also top notch. Does get really busy though so do yourself a favour and book, you may struggle otherwise, but if you're in the area well worth the visit!
